OVERVIEW

All the things I can remember is an animated-documentary examines the mental state of a person who has Alzheimer’s. Lee has been taking care of her mother-in-law, who was diagnosed with middle-stage Alzheimer’s. With the interviews of Lee, the film shows how the disease affects the patient and the family.

I produced and animated this documentary short about my grandmother, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. I aimed to pay tribute to her and convey her feelings despite the challenges of the illness. I interviewed my mom who was her caretaker and edited the voiceover to tell my grandmother’s story. You can find my interview about the film at the website, We Are Moving Stories, here.

The film was the official selection at 2018 Mammoth Lakes Film Festival,
Female Eye Film Festival, and Taichung International Animation Festival in Taiwan.
